what actually happened was that the land of azeroth tore into two pieces, namely: kalimdor and the eastern kingdoms. the mealstrom(you know the big tornado thing in the middle of the map) is where the well was before the sundering

sorry couldn't resist setting this error straight

oh and didnt the demol soul get created during the 2nd war?
