Actually, I don't think that was the analogy at all. No US is to Bin Laden is Kil'Jaeden is to Velen type relationship was implied. The comparison was that one person/thing was hunting down another person/thing and that if we think it's taking too long to find Bin Laden in our world imagine if it had been taking over 5,000 years and still no luck. If anything, the real world implication is that Elizabeth thinks Bin Laden has escaped US pursuit by fleeing to another planet. This seems unlikely, but everyone has their theories I guess.
