I would swear that she was the old woman in the swamp, if for no other reason then the way she mocks you when you have to fight demons on her lawn, and she just watches. Ah well...
Cycle of Hatred was a good book, in my opinion, but I never really understood the whole gender imbalance it keeps tossing around. Sure, it might work in warcraft 3, but how is there gender bias in the workplace when half the town guards in any city are female? Or when major trainers, npcs, battle masters, faction leaders, etc and so on.
Meh.
