I think I also now have a better description of yoru Infinity dragonflight, which will harken back to the good ole series Sliders. Ok remember when you saw that really cute girl/guy in the mall and thought about asking her out? Well in another reality you did, and yet in another reality she/he said yes, in another reality she/he didn't break up with you and raised a happy family. I hope you get where this is going. Now being a intelligent creature that Norzdormu can be I want you to think if he ever regrets or wishes he could change things. Well he has, but fortunately for us he hasn't decided to fight against the way things must flow.
In the WoW universe time runs like a stream in the mist of chaos. If time ever runs off course and doesn't stay on the calm pass it would pratically be torn asunder. The whole job of Norzdormu is to make sure that actions of every race that encounters Azeroth does not cause actions that are detrimental to our balance on this stream. Still Norzdormu exist in infinite number of times, by this I mean, he at all times knows both the pain of death and the moment of birth. He knows these moments because he is at them all. Still if he ever thought, "what if he just killed Medivh woudl that save the world?" Then there probably is a moment when he acted on those impulses.
That very act of moving Azeroth off the stream of reality and time probably tore the hell out of him and his flight, and probably even has happened a infinite number of times. Still my guess is that one survived and even has found its way through the chaos back to the streams of time, now determined to right the wrongs in the world.
So basically with all I said, the leader of the Infinite Dragonflight would be Norzdormu, but one that has quite literally survived the chaos of time when one's boat travels off course. He isn't exactly sane and all that serve him are just as likely not so healthy in the head. Thing is Norzdormu knows all this, he always has, and now is the time where he needs us to act on it.
So sad that none of the Dragonflights can act as one.
