nah that obvious bullcrap (pun, lol) meant to put a benevolent fact on their shady alliance.

plus, The fact that the forsaken keep HUMANS IN CAGES shows what they really think of restoring themselves- they couldn't give a damn.

Actually the forsaken would like to be human/elves again if it keeps them from dying...see if you kill the lich king, you kill the forsaken...so they either need to A. Become human/elves, or find a way to break their connection from the scourge and the lich king.
