Ehh, more interesting if he isn't trying to cheat his death. Instead he knows he WILL die so he has to train his heir. Hence he created the infinite dragonflight and setup all these problems for his heir to solve. Perhaps he's eventually killed by heroes in a raid. Why? Because that's how he saw he would die and after looking at the other possibilities, it was by far the least disastrous way to the timeline/world) for him to go down.

Anyhow, I sincerely hope they do something much more interesting than "qq, I no wants to die"
