As far as the dragons seemingly being interested in only one thing... well... imagine you are a member of a dwindling, highly powerful race. They need to propagate, simply to combat the fact that most of their race is either insane or evil. They are in no way furthering their own cause, simply avoiding extinction.

On another note, I am curios to know: Onyxia is Deathwing's Daughter, whom is by all accounts dead... how do they plan on staying within lore rules and bringing her back for level 80 raids? I would imagine the are going to include Varian Wrynn in a quest to kill her, again, this time leading up to the ultimate showdown with Deathwing, possible has something to do with the fact that his children are dead or dying that he is so pissed off?

I think it has been explained the the new Ony fight is not canon. It was added for the 5th anniversary because it is a really fun fight.

How many hundreds of people on a single server have brought the head of Onyxia to be mounted in Stormwind or Orgrimmar?

Quite a few?

And you're worried about it being done at 80?
