Isn't your second war lore incorrect?

From what I can remember from the books, Zuluhed, who recieved a vision from Deathwing, found the Demon Soul in Tides of Darkness (the second war on Azeroth) and enslaved Alexstrasza with the help of Nekros Skullcrusher. The Dragonmaw clan then took Grim Batol as their stronghold, where they kept the red dragons until the events of Day of The Dragon.

In Beyond the Dark Portal (which is set after Tides of Darkness), Deathwing approaches Teron Gorefiend after he was denied help by Rend and Maim Blackhand (as well as the help of their allies the Dragonmaw). Their deal was that Deathwing would help the Horde for safe passage to Dreanor for him and some of his children/eggs.

The Prestor-Plot failed before he became king of Alterac because of his defeat at the hands of the dragons broke the spell.

That is...unless they retconned it
