Given the nature of the cataclysm, instead of death-blood perhaps it would be chaos-blood or blood-of-pure-destruction.

I would doubt it. We didn't have "Illidanite Ore" in TBC or "Kel'Thuzadite / C'thunite Ore" in Vanilla.

I think they played up the lore connection between Yogg and Saronite pretty well here, but I wouldn't expect Blizz to use the same connection again for Cataclysm.

My idea is 'Neltharium'. You know how Deathwing is constantly leaking lava? That's 'Neltharium' (please not this is just my idea and nopt cinfirmed in the slightest)

Being that Deathwing is now made out of molten rock and fire, and that his flight left these great big chasms in the ground beneath where he flew, I would say it is pretty likely that some of his blood or body got left behind underneath his path too.

Here's the story about Deathwing's metal. It used to be Iron. But they thought that would be too weak to hold back lava and all that shiz. So up until now the metal on Deathwing's spine and jaw has been Adamantium. Sound familiar? It should... because during TBC we were mining up Adamantite. I doubt the 2 are related, but if they are DEATHWING IMMA COME FOR JOO WITH MY SARONITE AXE! That'll teach him.

Didn't Deathwing have to be covered in some kind of metal plates to stop from spilling all over the place or something? Maybe we'll get the same metal that's covering his body.

I'd just reintroduce Elementium, it fits perfectly into Cata. The old bars/ore could be remade into "pure elementium" or "expired elementium" or something :P

Read the goblin preview page on the official Cataclysm site. Kaja'mite, the ore that ancient goblin slaves were forced to dig up by their troll masters, the same ore that led to the rapid development of their intelligence, that will be absolutely for certain part of the new metals lineup for Cataclysm.

Deathwing's armor is made of dark iron, and Orgrimmar is supposedly going to be reconstructed out of dark iron, so maybe they'll repurpose it in the expansion.

In some of the old lore, Deahtwing's armor was said to be made from adamantium, so they could maybe use that, too.
