I wonder how it went from being in the claws of Deathwing to ending up in Felwood and falling into Illidan's possession..

It certainly is an item that almost has a mind of its own, thats for certain.

I'm sure this will be covered in the next KYL, but it was sent back through the portal along with some other items before it was closed for the second time. I won't go into any more detail than that. :)
