This time period is definitely the most important in my opinion. The actions of the Expedition and the retreating Horde forces will continue to reverberate throughout the rest of the WoW timeline. As a sidenote though, I really believe Blizzard should have used Turalyon instead of Tirion Fordring. Can you imagine Turalyon leading the Argent Crusade, then the Ashen Verdict with the Ashbringer? Alleria could be helping her youngest sister in the Silver Covenant...t'would have been awesome. 8-)

Tirion is a much more logical choice to reform the silver hand in the form of the argent crusade. It is us, the players, who originally rouse him from his from his malaise and focus his anger against the scarlet crusade. I'm sure Turalyon's time will come.

It won't. He got a statue in Stormwind, an equally forgotten son (who apparently grew up on Azeroth somehow) and a Tier set named after him. Oh yes, and a recanted Blizzard statement that he'd show in Burning Crusade.
