Night of the Dragon, I'm almost finished, and let me just say, if you're trawling for wide-ranging lore knowledge, this book won't really help you there. To use an in-game analagy, it's like if you've been leveling a toon, trying to learn every aspect of your class, but then on a random tangent decide to go for some achievements. The achievements won't really help you further your leveling, but they make for a fun little aside.
Night of the Dragon is like that. It involves Krasus, Rhonin, Kaelec, Vereesa and Sinestra, all prominent lore figures, and it helps you learn some more sinister aspects to the activities of the Black Dragon Flight, and the in-fighting between blue/red dragons. It gives some insight into the tensions between the High Elves and the Blood Elves.
I found it a well-written, quality read and very well suited to the pre-cataclysm story we're starting to see. It even offers some insight into Dragon-magics and the role and personality of a Discipline Priest (a Dranei to be specific). Not very plot-moving, but a nice little adventure-piece all the same.
