If the silithid are native to Azeroth, why do they depict them occasionally as having burrows that are at the terminal point of a meteor's impact? I could have sworn while leveling that it was suggested (maybe in Ungoro?) that they were alien bugs.

There's a quest called "Alien Ecology", but it means it in the "Cane Toads are alien to Australia" sense, rather than "Vulcans are aliens".
