i knew that cthun was strong, but i didnt realize just how strong he was if he battled a titan to a standstill. also am i the only one who notices that the names of the old gods seem to have come from H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu books?

Nope. In fact, it's very common knowledge that the Old Gods are homages to the Elder Gods.

Nah, that's pretty much the inspiration for them. Yog-Sottoth (sp) Cthullu, Saggoth, there are alot of names that seem to come from the Cthulu Mythos. I have the feeling we will still see more, considering we know that the Naga were created by an Old God when Queen Azshara and the rest of her highborne fell into the oceans when the world was sundered. Maybe we will see a Cthullu type Old God coming out of the maelstrom.
