I feel like Blizzard pissed in my Cheerios...
WoW Insider did a great job this past week getting me pumped up for some super awesome news, but after having reviewed it all, I'm just really disappointed.
No new character models and no mention of account-wide achievements or how shared pets across an account will work.
Only 1 additional character slot while better than nothing, still feels like a kick in the balls.
The simplification of the Pet Battle System where every pet has the same choices of abilities means that there's nothing really cool about having rare pets X, Y and Z on your team. And only tracking wins to spare hurt feelings is utter BS! The majority of WoW's playerbase is >20 now... We want to challenge our friends directly, not queue into some random fight. I was actually looking forward to the PBS, but now I feel like they've geared it towards pre-teens and small children.

For crying out loud, why does everyone assume that means you CAN'T challenge your friends and people directly? They'll be hiding it in randoms, not necessarily against your friends. It is, in fact, a really good idea. The only downside is that you won't be able to MAKE friends that way, but its a heck of a lot better than the people queing specifically to grief those that love it that would come up.
