Around Azeroth: The body farm

Around Azeroth The body farm WEDNESDAY
"I seriously want to know what these pandas are truly up to with their so-called farming," writes submitter Arugadh of The Brotherhood of Iron on Wyrmrest Accord (US-A). "Every day, I have to fight disease-ridden virmen, bloodthirsty hawks, and tentacles of the Old Gods trying to steal my veggies. And today, in a quiet corner of this supposedly peaceful farm, I found a skeleton curled up in the death throes of one who succumbed to whatever horrific curse the Old Gods have laid on my crops. I'm waiting for the big reveal of what the pandas are really farming. I'm waiting ..."

Around Azeroth: Bad dog! Get off the carpet!

Around Azeroth Bad dog! Get off the carpet! TUESDAY
"After a long day, there's nothing better than curling up for a nice relaxing nap," writes submitter Gurgii of Ascension on Whisperwind (US-A). "But my adopted pup just won't listen to me. I keep telling him the rug is so much more comfortable than the cold tiles. He's got a lot to learn about being a worgen!" I hope housebreaking is going to be part of his training, Gurgii, or you two might be unwelcome in dungeons and other confined spaces for a while.

Around Azeroth: Tastes pixellated

Around Azeroth Tastes pixellated MONDAY
Submitter Ezekington of Ancient Order of UMs on Doomhammer (US-A) was helping a pandaren buddy explore some mysterious amber objects at the base of a kypari tree when his base canine instincts overpowered him. Like all dogs presented with a strange object, Ezekington just had to see if it was edible. (This is the same logic my son uses.) Ugh! Artificial banana flavor? That worgen's learned his lesson ... at least until the next time.

Around Azeroth: I've made a huge mistake

Around Azeroth I've made a huge mistake SUNDAY
What's up, lizard-bros? It's just me, one of your fellow saurok, here to hang around the campfire and talk about our upcoming plans in great detail. You may notice that I've acquired a staff. You'll be pleased to know that I took it off a filthy human, which I killed with my claws and such. I shall use it to roast marshmallows. Now, what time exactly are we going to attack that Alliance camp down the road, and which invasion route will be we using, and how susceptible are we to Shadowbolts? I'm just going to take notes for ... my research. Damn it, Jones! Get me out of here! They've caught on to my brilliant disguise! And I was being so subtle about it. (Thanks to submitter Raenah of Nameless on Nagrand [EU-A] for the screenshot!)

Around Azeroth: The straw that broke the Warchief's back

Around Azeroth The straw that broke the Warchief's back SATURDAY
He bombed Theramore. He stole the Divine Bell. He tried to have Vol'jin murdered. He killed Rhonin (although that may not have been such a bad thing.) But when Garrosh Hellscream sicced his Kor'kron on Gamon, the patron saint of vulnerable, oft-murdered NPCs everywhere, he went too far. Soon, an army of level 5 quilboars, gnolls, murlocs and other quest-bait will swarm on the Warchief, dying by the millions in a pointless assassination attempt. Such is the way of Azeroth. (Thanks to submitter Layonhooves of Drakkari [US-H] for the screenshot!)

Around Azeroth: A city upon a hill

Around Azeroth A city upon a hill FRIDAY
Submitter Taedran of Guilty as Charged on Silvermoon (US-A) has captured another high-resolution, long-distance zone picture. This one features the doomed goblin homeland of Kezan at sunset. Sure, it's polluted, tacky and filled with tin-roof shacks, but dammit, it was home. Maybe we shouldn't have centered our entire civilization under the shadow of a giant active volcano, and then mined underneath the giant active volcano, and then built a city where we mined and filled it with alchemists and engineers and other explosion-causing professionals. But hindsight is 20/20.

Around Azeroth: Short people got no reason to live

Around Azeroth Short people got no reason to live THURSDAY

"I won a contest from the Tauren Think Tank podcast and scored my own Lil' Ragnaros," writes submitter Marconin of Just Wipe It on Draka (US-A). "I was overjoyed to add this guy to my collection ... until I summoned him. Being a gnome, I'm used to things and people towering over me. I'm not used to my pets dwarfing me! I heard you can use him as a cooking fire, but I doubt I'll ever find out for myself. There's no way I'm getting on my tiptoes with a frying pan. I have standards, you know."

Around Azeroth: Are you experienced?

Around Azeroth Stay away from the brown acid
Another entry from the archives of mega-submitter Taedran of Guilty as Charged on Silvermoon (US-A). I'm not entirely sure what has caused the rivers of Uldum to run red with blood, nor why the sky suddenly resembles the favorite poster of college girls everywhere, Van Gogh's The Starry Night. But I'm pretty sure that hallucinogens are somehow involved. Which, unless you are a devotee of certain American Indian religions, is officially Not Cool with the government. Please turn yourself in at the nearest police station.

Around Azeroth: Close encounters of the blurry kind

Around Azeroth Close encounters of the blurry kind TUESDAY
"As I was leveling herbalism in Westfall, I noticed something unusual," writes submitter Jkal of Alexstrasza (US-A). "A white, glowing blur would zoom across the landscape about five feet up in the air. I couldn't target it and it was fast. It was like nothing I'd seen before in game. It would always head towards Longshore and disappear. I think I got a picture. But I still don't know what it is. Sure looks like a UFO to me. This one was stationary when I found it. It just slowly blinked out as I stood there watching."

Around Azeroth: I hate your stupid face

Around Azeroth I hate your stupid face MONDAY
Everyone might be focused on unseating Garrosh Hellscream right now, but there are still a few Alliance folks who aren't too happy with Varian Wrynn. But they can't exactly start a revolution, not with the Horde threatening and all those damned Stormwind guards hanging around. So what are they to do? Why, slap a humiliating mask on the king! Ha ha! Look at that big orange frown! Sure, you'll be dragged to the dungeons and executed the next day, but it's totally worth it. (Thanks to Dukii for the screenshot!)
